Does This Sound Familiar?
Your blood work came back “normal,” but you feel everything but.
Maybe your energy is lower than it used to be. Your weight is becoming harder to manage. You’re dealing with brain fog, cravings, poor sleep, or changes in your hair, skin, digestion, or mood.
Or maybe you feel relatively well, but you’re starting to wonder what your annual blood work is actually telling you about your health as you move through midlife.
Standard blood work can provide valuable information, but it may not include the broader markers that help build a more complete picture of your metabolic, thyroid, cardiovascular, inflammatory, and nutritional health.
The question is, what might be happening beneath the surface that your standard blood work hasn’t shown you?
Why Advanced Blood Chemistry?
Beacuse “normal” doesn’t always tell you the entire story.
Most routine blood work is designed to identify values that fall outside standard laboratory ranges. But there can be valuable information in the patterns between those numbers too.
Advanced Blood Chemistry takes a broader look at your blood sugar regulation, thyroid function, inflammation, cardiovascular markers, nutrient status, liver and kidney function, and other important areas of metabolic health.
Instead of looking at each marker in isolation, we can begin connecting the dots between your energy, metabolism, blood sugar, thyroid, cardiovascular health, and overall physiology.

Is this covered by insurance or HSA/FSA?
We do not bill insurance directly. Many functional lab tests are HSA/FSA eligible. You can use your card at checkout, though eligibility is ultimately determined by your plan administrator. We recommend checking with your plan administrator before placing your order.
Who is this test best for?
This panel may be a good fit if you are new to functional lab testing, experiencing changes that may have a metabolic component, interested in cardiovascular or longevity related markers, considering HRT, currently using HRT, or simply want a comprehensive baseline of your health during perimenopause or menopause.
It can also be used as an annual or twice yearly assessment to follow changes in your metabolic health over time.
How is Advanced Blood Chemistry different from standard annual blood work?
The Advanced Blood Chemistry includes a broader collection of markers than most standard annual blood panels and evaluates multiple areas of health together, including cardiovascular health, metabolic function, thyroid status, blood sugar regulation, inflammation, iron, and nutrient status.
Your Personalized Lab Results Education Report also provides additional context by looking at both standard laboratory reference ranges and functional ranges.
What are functional ranges?
Standard laboratory reference ranges are generally based on statistical ranges within a broad population. Functional ranges provide another way of looking at your results by using narrower ranges intended to provide additional context about how your body may be functioning.
Your education report includes both, so you can see your results from both perspectives.
Can I order this panel if I am considering or currently using HRT, or if I'm using hormonal birth control?
Yes. Advanced Blood Chemistry can provide a comprehensive metabolic baseline before beginning HRT and can also be used while you are on HRT or hormonal birth control to monitor your broader metabolic health.
Where will I have my blood drawn?
This is a blood draw rather than an at home collection kit. After receiving your requisition, you will have your blood drawn at a Labcorp location.
How long will it take to get my results?
Your requisition will be available in your Practice Better portal within approximately 1 to 2 business days after your order is processed.
Lab processing takes approximately 5 to 10 business days after your blood draw. Your Personalized Lab Results Education Report is typically completed within approximately 3 business days of receiving your laboratory results.
Is this test available in my state?
The Cycle Clarity Bundle is available to residents of the contiguous United States, with the exception of New York, New Jersey, and Rhode Island due to state regulations.
At this time, testing cannot be ordered if you reside in New York, New Jersey, or Rhode Island, or if you reside outside of the contiguous United States.
What does my personalized lab results education report include?
Your Personalized Lab Results Education Report is designed to turn a complex laboratory report into information that is easier to understand and use. Rather than leaving you to sort through pages of markers, graphs, and reference ranges on your own, your report helps highlight the findings and patterns that deserve your attention.
Your personalized report includes:
- A clear, plain language review of your laboratory findings
- Identification of key results and patterns that stand out
- Education about what your individual markers measure and why they matter
- Connections between related markers and patterns within your results
- Insight into how your findings may relate to the concerns and questions that led you to testing
- Identification of areas you may want to explore further with your healthcare provider
- A personalized resource you can save and bring to future healthcare appointments
Your education report is intended to help you better understand your laboratory findings and prepare you for more informed conversations about your health. It does not provide a medical diagnosis or replace care, diagnosis, or treatment from your licensed healthcare provider.
Who is the physician network and what is their role?
Posity Wellness partners with an independent physician network to provide the licensed physician oversight required to order your laboratory testing.
The physician network reviews and authorizes your lab order, allowing you to access testing without first obtaining an order from your personal healthcare provider.
The physician network’s role is limited to facilitating and authorizing the laboratory order. They do not provide ongoing medical care, diagnosis, treatment, or replace your relationship with your personal healthcare provider.
Your laboratory results and Personalized Lab Results Education Report are provided to help you better understand your findings and can be shared with your healthcare provider for further evaluation and medical decision making.
