It depends on what you are using.

DUTCH Complete measures hormones produced naturally by your body as well as certain bioidentical hormones being supplemented. It does not directly measure the synthetic hormones contained in hormonal contraceptives.

DUTCH Complete may be appropriate with oral micronized progesterone and estradiol delivered through patches, gels, creams, vaginal creams, or pellets. Testosterone results may be used as complementary information alongside serum testosterone when using transdermal, injected, or pellet testosterone.

Non hormonal contraception, such as a copper IUD, does not present the same limitation.

Hormonal contraceptives, including combination contraceptives and progestin only methods, can substantially change natural hormone production and patterns. This can limit what DUTCH Complete can tell us about your sex hormones and their metabolites.

DUTCH Complete uses dried urine samples collected at specific times during a testing day. GI-MAP requires a stool sample.

You’ll receive collection instructions with your testing materials so you know when and how to complete each portion.

From ordering your kit to receiving your personalized education report, here’s what you can generally expect:

• Kit delivery: Approximately 3 to 5 business days after your order is processed.
• Lab processing: Approximately 10 to 14 business days after your samples are received by the laboratory.
