DUTCH Cycle Mapping + Lab Results Education Report

🏠 At-home kit · Dried urine

When the way you feel seems to change from one week to the next, testing your hormones on a single day may only capture one small piece of the picture.

Full Cycle Mapping follows your estrogen and progesterone patterns across your menstrual cycle, helping you see the rhythm and timing behind those changes and better understand why some weeks may feel so different from others.

Does This Sound Familiar?

Some weeks you feel like yourself. Other weeks, everything feels off.

Maybe your mood shifts, your sleep changes, or your energy suddenly disappears. Your period might arrive earlier, later, heavier, lighter, or seemingly whenever it wants.

And just when you think you have your cycle figured out, the pattern changes again.

Especially during perimenopause, estrogen and progesterone can become increasingly unpredictable, making it difficult to understand why you feel great one week and completely off the next.

Why Full Cycle Mapping?

Beacuse one day of testing can’t show you the entire month.

Estrogen and progesterone are meant to change throughout your menstrual cycle. And during perimenopause, those patterns can become even more variable.

Instead of measuring your hormones at one isolated moment, Full Cycle Mapping follows estrogen and progesterone across the month, allowing you to see their rhythm, timing, and changing patterns.

Are you seeing the expected rise in estrogen? Did progesterone rise after ovulation? Could the timing of those changes help explain why you feel great one week and completely different the next?

Full Cycle Mapping helps make those patterns visible, giving you a clearer picture of what your hormones are actually doing throughout your cycle.

Your Results, Made Understandable

Because getting your results is only the beginning.

You shouldn’t have to figure out what all of that means by yourself.

Your Cycle Clarity Bundle includes a Personalized Lab Results Education Report that helps you understand your results in plain English and identify the patterns that stand out most.

Is this covered by insurance or HSA/FSA?

We do not bill insurance directly. Many functional lab tests are HSA/FSA eligible. You can use your card at checkout, though eligibility is ultimately determined by your plan administrator. We recommend checking with your plan administrator before placing your order.

Who is this test best for?

The Full Cycle Mapping may be a great fit if you’re still cycling and want to understand not only your hormone levels, but how your hormone patterns change throughout the month.

This comprehensive testing may be especially helpful if you:

  • Still have menstrual cycles, whether regular or irregular and want to see your estrogen and progesterone patterns across the month.
  • Notice that how you feel changes throughout your cycle, including shifts in mood, sleep, energy, headaches, breast tenderness, hot flashes, or other concerns that seem to come and go.
  • Want to better understand ovulation and your luteal-phase hormone patterns, including how progesterone changes after ovulation.
  • Are preparing to start HRT and want to establish a comprehensive picture of your current hormone and cycle patterns beforehand.
  • Have had a partial hysterectomy or endometrial ablation but still have ovarian function and want greater insight into ongoing cyclical hormone patterns that may be difficult to track without a menstrual period.
Who should NOT order this test?

The Full Cycle Mapping is designed specifically for women who are still experiencing ovarian cycles and want to evaluate hormone patterns across the month. It may not be the appropriate testing choice if you are:

  • Postmenopausal and no longer cycling, since DUTCH Cycle Mapping is designed to follow changing hormone patterns across an active ovarian cycle.
  • Using hormonal birth control, since synthetic hormones can suppress or alter your natural ovarian hormone patterns and interfere with meaningful cycle mapping.
  • Having predictable, regular cycles without hormone related concerns and do not need the additional insight provided by testing across an entire cycle.
  • Currently using HRT and primarily want to monitor your hormone replacement therapy. Other testing options are better suited for evaluating circulating hormone levels while using HRT.

If any of these apply to you, another Posity Wellness assessment may be a better fit for your goals.

What do I need to do to prepare for this test?

Everything is completed at home.

DUTCH Cycle Mapping uses dried urine samples collected at specific times during your cycle.

You’ll receive collection instructions with your testing materials so you know when and how to complete each portion.

What does my personalized lab results education report include?

Your Personalized Lab Results Education Report is designed to turn a complex laboratory report into information that is easier to understand and use. Rather than leaving you to sort through pages of markers, graphs, and reference ranges on your own, your report helps highlight the findings and patterns that deserve your attention.

Your personalized report includes:

  • A clear, plain language review of your laboratory findings
  • Identification of key results and patterns that stand out
  • Education about what your individual markers measure and why they matter
  • Connections between related markers and patterns within your results
  • Insight into how your findings may relate to the concerns and questions that led you to testing
  • Identification of areas you may want to explore further with your healthcare provider
  • A personalized resource you can save and bring to future healthcare appointments

Your education report is intended to help you better understand your laboratory findings and prepare you for more informed conversations about your health. It does not provide a medical diagnosis or replace care, diagnosis, or treatment from your licensed healthcare provider.

Who is the physician network and what is their role?

Posity Wellness partners with an independent physician network to provide the licensed physician oversight required to order your laboratory testing.

The physician network reviews and authorizes your lab order, allowing you to access testing without first obtaining an order from your personal healthcare provider.

The physician network’s role is limited to facilitating and authorizing the laboratory order. They do not provide ongoing medical care, diagnosis, treatment, or replace your relationship with your personal healthcare provider.

Your laboratory results and Personalized Lab Results Education Report are provided to help you better understand your findings and can be shared with your healthcare provider for further evaluation and medical decision making.
