About Me
I’m Crysta Dickson, FDN-P, HHP – a biologist, Certified Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner and Board-Certified Health Practitioner.
Before I did this work, I spend years in survival mode with persistent fatigue, pain, digestive issues, hormone shifts, and brain fog. Conventional routes gave me labels, but not lasting change. So I went back to the data: I trained in functional labs, mapped my own patterns, and build a stepwise plan. Bit by bit, I rebuild my capacity – energy returned, sleep deepened, and I felt clear again.
Now I help women like you do the same – test, not guess, tailor a plan, and provide support until it sticks.

How is Posity Wellness different from other nutrition or coaching programs?
I don’t guess—I test. We use targeted functional labs plus a thorough intake to see how your systems interact, then build a plan that fits a real schedule. It’s collaborative, data-informed, and personalized for midlife women.
What kinds of functional labs might we use?
Depending on your case: gut/microbiome, hormone/adrenal, blood chemistry, nutrient status, and metabolic/mitochondrial assessments.
Do you diagnose medical conditions or replace my doctor?
No. This is educational, wellness-focused care. I’m happy to coordinate with your physician so you’re supported on both medical and lifestyle fronts.
Do you accept insurance? Can I use HSA/FSA?
Coaching isn’t typically insurance-covered, and many labs are cash-pay. Many clients use HSA/FSA for eligible items; but you would need to check with your plan’s administrator for eligibility.
How long until I feel a difference?
Varies by person, and there are no guanantees, but many notice early wins (energy, sleep, focus, digestion) within 2–6 weeks. Deeper shifts often unfold over 3–6 months as we implement and refine.
What does the process look like?
Free discovery call → intake/history → targeted labs → review & plan → ongoing coaching with adjustments as your markers and symptoms change.
Will I need a lot of supplements?
We keep it purposeful. Food, sleep, stress managment, and movement come first; supplements are targeted, time-bound, and based on data.
Why do most doctors tell me my labs look fine when I still feel off?
Conventional labs check disease thresholds; you may be “in range” but still suboptimal. We look at functional ranges, patterns over time, and your lived experience to explain what a single number can miss.
How are sessions delivered, and how often do we meet?
All sessions are private and virtual. Most clients meet every two weeks, then taper as results stabilize. Cadence is personalized to your goals and progress.
In every ecosystem, a change in one area ripples through the whole. Human health works the same way. When we address upstream stressors and rebuild capacity system wide, the body remembers how to heal. That network-based lens guides everything I do.
